Several factors have converged in recent months to accelerate SHIFT's existing plans to move some of its teaching and learning online. This project follows on from a small pilot project conducted in the summer of 2020 and will allow SHIFT to maximize the innovation and fullfilment potential of making this significant change - it is much more than simply transitioning learning to an online model.

For many years SHIFT has used a variety of online resources and content as part of a blended approach to teaching and learning. During the summer of 2020 SHIFT ran a pilot project to assess the challenges and rewards of developing its own online content.

This complimented existing plans to move Management and Learner Information System's online with the goal of creating a coherent, easy to use system.
